Bang! bang! bang! the hotel room door was hit again."Open the damn door". Someone shouted, mike got up putting on his trouser, Emeade was beginning to get angry as she wrapped herself with the duvet. Mike walked to the door and peeped through the small hole on the door,he hissed and opened the door. It was Valentine. Valentine brushed him aside and walked in hand in hand with Meeynah who is smiling mischievously looking at her friend that awkwardly laid on the bed. "You sly fox, you just sneaked yourself and your wife out of the wedding like that?" val questioned his friend teasingly "We didn't sneak out we just umm walked out" Mike scratched the back of his head as Meeynah ran to the side of the bed where her friend laid blushing so much her face was almost the shade of a tomato.
"Really girl? ! This hair was made this morning what on earth did you do with it?" emeade touched her hair "well umm i erm"......
"Please leave my angel alone,she's beautiful no matter what she wears or how her hair looks like". Mike cuts in. Please take your wahala with you and go jor" mike pushed Mina to val and held his wife. "Phuleaseeee we all know my fire here is the beauty"Val replied. "Awww thanks babe. Mina kissed val lightly on his lips...."Oh please today's my wedding day for crying out loud. Val, in fact , Smoke take your fire and both of you should leave . My Wife and I want some privacy abeg!!" Mike pushed them both out and locked the door, he turned to his wife and they both burst out laughing ....."i told you its not a good idea to leave the wedding" she rest her head on his shoulder as he came to sit on the bed, but you were the one whose voice was the loudest few minutes ago oo going all oohs and ahhs" he teased "Oh so now I'm the shouter abi? Who wanted to go crazy over my sexy body?" She threw back at him "Me ooohh" he tickled her while she laughed begging him to stop "so where were we? before smoke and fire interrupted ?".............."oh no the question is were was i?" she climbed on him and gave him a deep kissed covering both of them with the duvet.

Mike watched her sleep, how he love her is out of this world. She looks so beautiful in her sleep. She's the reason he had to be who he is, who he has become in the past three years they met. She was just supposed to be an assignment given to him but now, she was his everything... He was still thinking when his phone rang. It was a private line, he looked at his sleeping beauty and walked into the bathroom before picking the call, not forgetting to Lock the door and turn on the water.
"How's she?" the voice asked.
"Doing good sir" he replied.
"How soon can you get back here? The boss has been asking for you, there's a new assignment."
Mike groaned inwardly, he was beginning to get tired of this. His going back there would be to end everything. Enough is enough!
"Are you still there?" the voice asked again.
"Yeah, I'll be there as soon as I can." Mike replied and hanged up before he could hear any upsetting things from the voice. It was his wedding night for goodness sakes... They should let him be.
He stepped out and saw Emeade awake looking out the window of their hotel room.
" What were you doing in there? " she asked because he had stayed long in there and she was just hearing water sounds.
"Just relieving myself." he replied.
She looked at him sideways and walked into his arms, resting her head on his shoulder and whispered "I love you".
"I love you too" I have to end this mess I've gotten myself into he thought to himself as he rocked her in his arms while they watched the stars.
